Making GNUstep hier(7) compliant

  Are there any objections to making GNUstep more hier(7) compliant?

  GNUstep has been supporting a fhs-style directory layout for quite  
some time now, and I believe it's time to bite the bullet and update  
the pkgsrc GNUstep build system.  On the plus side, this means getting  
rid of emulating a huge NeXT style hierarchy under share/GNUstep.  On  
the negative side, this breaks compatibility with all binary GNUstep  
packages so far.  I'm happy to start off with the core and development  
packages and then slowly grind my way through the other GNUstep  
packages to update them, note incompatibilities, and fix the PLISTS ...

  Comments?  Suggestions?
