Could pkgsrc/devel/bmake/patches/patch-aa be directly incorporated into
the code in order to be used for bootstrapping as well? This would help
very much for IRIX 5 support.
Or would it break things with other operating systems?
Bootstrap's configure should correctly set HAVE_REGEX_H, doen't it?
