Itojun,

On reading back my last reply to you, I feel I owe you an apology.
I offer you my sincere apologies, without reservation.

I admit I have been quite blunt recently. But the reason I have been
blunt has nothing to do with ill-will toward you. Instead, I see a
months-old failure to communicate and agree on what the relevant
technical issues are, with regard to randomized IP ids.
(Most recently, with Matt Thomas, there may well be some language
issues as well.)

Any bluntness on my part was a sincere (though perhaps a misguided)
attempt on my part to get past that communication failure. I
apologise, again, if i was too blunt.

I am sure you are equally sincere, in your desire to see the
randomized IP-id code in NetBSD. Can you do the rest of us the
courtesy of noting that several of us do understand your goal,
but we *dont want it*.

Are you at least clear on the reasons we don't want it,
even if you don't agree with those reasons?
