Why? There is no argument from you in the PR log.

For me, avoiding quirks is a worthwhile goal.
And while testing I've seen two other USB thumb
drives which report wrong residual values in
the CSW in some situations. Was harmless here,
but shows that sloppy implementations are not
uncommon.
