Probably.  I know someone who has an 8M -3/50 that actually has 8M of
RAM soldered on instead of 4M - he tells me it was some kind of
Sun-internal one-off.  You might have another, but it does seem much
likelier that you have the third-party memory daughterboard.

If you take the CPU board out of the case, does it have a daughterboard
with SIMM sockets on it, plugged into a couple of the chip sockets on
the main board?  That's the daughterboard.

Monochrome, I *think*.  (Did the 3/50 ever exist in a colour version?
I know the 3/60 did....)
