I had the problem again today with too many ^G's crashing my system.
It didn't crash from the console, but I sat there for awhile. I
think I'm going to put an option into cu to skip ^G's in a row and
just ring it once.
When it crashed it was in kbdrain() in tsleep(). I was writing
things down, then got distracted, and forget to finish before
rebooting. (oops. not a panic, so not panic dump either)
I solved my problem under X with "xset b 0" ... I think that we
don't have any control over volume/frequency/duration with the sun3's
right?
