You can remove all of the arch stuff which is not related to your 
platform.  For the sun3, you will need to keep sun3 and m68k.  Also, you 
can remove all of the emulation stuff in /sys/compat which isn't 
supported by your platform.  On the sun3, you should keep compat/common 
and compat/sunos.
