Hi all,

I noticed some weirdness when using the keyboard at the Open Firmware
prompt in a PowerMac G4 'Sawtooth'.
If I press the 'Caps Lock' key, the keyboard will stop working at the
prompt: no matter what keys I press or if I press again the 'caps
lock' key: no output (and the light of the Caps Lock doesn't light on,
of course). The only thing that can be done is to hard-reboot using
the reset button.
In addition, If I use the Caps Lock key before the prompt appears (but
keeping the Cmd+Option+O+F keys pressed), the OF will sometimes hang
in a white screen with no text. Again the only thing that can be done
is hard-reboot.

In other firmware screens like the 'boot selector' screen, the Caps
Lock key doesn't cause a hang (even if the light doesn't power on).

The keyboard is a 'Apple Extended USB keyboard'. This is not the
original keyboard that came with the machine (it came with the
'reduced' original Apple USB keyboard); but of course the keyboard
works fine in Mac OS X, NetBSD, Mac OS 9, etc.

This is of course not important; but can you reproduce this on similar machines?

Greetings,
Marco
