Looks like you are already ahead of where I got. Last idea: Did you
start setup from /emul/linux/bin/bash such that setup "sees" a linux
environment (#uname -> ...linux)?
I am not shure though, if that realy makes a difference. Have also
a look at the openoffice read.me, somewhere in a doc folder after you
unpacked the download. There was a switch for a non-graphical
installer to setup if I remember correctly.
