Interesting. The dmesg doesn't show any cache, because the
arch/powerpc/oea/cpu_subr.c code doesn't attempt to determine cache size on
this CPU. It might be off if Open Firmware hasn't enabled it with a value
stored in the /cpus node.

dev /cpus .properties

It might be

dev /cpu .properties

depending on your version of OF.
