More for interest than anything else, on my powerbook 540 
(33mhz lc040) I manage to get almost 1 megabyte/sec out
of the ethernet interface when writing to a nfs mounted
disk via ipv6 to an iBook.  I have to make sure the file
is in the file cache first, otherwise I get 800 kbytes/sec
or so.

I'm impressed.  That's fast.
