After my earlier failure to get NetBSD to install, I did the following:
reformatted hd to HFS ~80megs, A/UX Root ~800megs, A/UX Swap
~120megs. All NetBSD files (.tgz and Booter, Installer etc.) went
into the HFS partion, and installation worked. But when I try to
boot, I get a system freeze. The Booter gets to the "The real way it
should be done is to..." and that's it. I have all extensions except
Mode32 turned off. I have tried both the generic kernel and the
genericsbc kernel (using minishell to remove one, then installing the
other) with the same result.

The system again: SE30, System 7.5.5 on internal hd, NetBSD 1.6.1 on
external hd. Both drives are terminated, no other devices connected
to SCSI. Suggestions appreciated, thanks.
