please can anyone point me in the direction
of something similar to Bob Nestor's - X how to,
for information on fvwm2 with X ?
(it covers configuration for xdm, but not fvwm)

I have X11R6 installed and working on NetBSD 1.5,
and fvwm2 compiled and installed. after login, the command
fvwm2, gives - FVWM:unable to open device error; and startx,
followed by fvwm2, gives - FVWM:another window manager already
in use error.
