Subject: Booting MacBSD

Greetings.

I have been suscribing to this group for about two weeks now, and have
got throught the FAQ, Release Notes, etc. but I still cannot boot my
Mac II.

I am attempting to install MacBSD to learn BSD. I have little previous
knowledge of BSD or UNIX in general. :)

Using HDT 1.6 on my Quantum 100 (id 0, internal) I partitioned: swap,
root and MacOS. The Mac II (5MB RAM) is using a Sonnet '030 processor
upgrade. The logic board does not have a PMMU, but the '030 has the
integrated one. Then using Mkfs I selected the A/UX Root partition.
Then I ran the Install 1.1 and installed base.tar.gz (from
ftp.macbsd.com eskimo.copy); COMP11, ETC11, MISC11, TEXT11, NETBSD11
and GAMES11 (from ftp.eecs.umich.edu). Then I installed devices. When
I boot, I get this the following , then it freezes:

If you got this far, thank you. I am sure I am either running it on a
machine that wont, or I am not doing something I cant find. I have a
Centris 650 that, when installed, gets to the banner screen, but
crashes before I can get to a command line.

Thank you for you assistance.
