My apologies for not including it. The message snuck out before I realized
I forgot to include it.

When trying to tar:
$ tar cvf /dev/rst0 pinerc
tar: can't open /dev/rst0 : Device not configured

Yesterday I upgraded to 1.2, and used MAKEDEV all after installation (used
Make Devices earlier on in Installer). Currently using GENERIC-1 kernel
(ncrscsi). I'm going to be recompiling it later today for customization,
and will be using sbc instead.

Previously, I had the same error with 1.2Beta (custom kernel, sbc driver).
I may have tried it under 1.1 as well, but I forget. In any case, it's
never worked. The drive does work under MacOS 6.0.8 (s/w will not work
with 7+).
