now it would be good to know why fsck_msdos(8) has problems with your
windows partitions.  from a quick look at the sources it seems that
fsck_msdos(8) should support FAT32 just fine.  are your file systems any
special?  (i don't really have any experiences with this combination,
someone with more fsck_msdos(8) and FAT32 clue?)
