Why has USB ethernet support been removed from the GENERIC_LAPTOP
kernel in NetBSD 20020427-1.5.3_RC2 snapshot?

USB ethernet support was always supported in NetBSD 1.5ZA-1.5ZC
GENERIC_LAPTOP kernels, and yet it appears not be compiled into
20020427-1.5.3_RC2.

When testing new hardware on laptops and doing network
installations on it, I prefer to grab the lastest generic laptop
snapshots as is and use it, and only bother to compile kernels
with customized options on the official NetBSD releases.

Please insure that USB ethernet support is enabled on any future
NetBSD GENERIC_LAPTOP kernels.

Thanks in advance.
Alicia.
