Hmm,

I am working in one comapny (I have 3 jobs right now :). and we have:
about 3000 (exactly 2967:) Users (Conected 100 Mbps STP cabel, a lot of Switches,
Hubs and so on :), and all they have Internet from one Server:
IBM PS 330: 512 MB RAM, Dual Pentium PRO 200 MHz, 5x3Com 100 Mbps Ethernet Cards,
4xISA 3Com Ethernet cards, 6 SCSI disks = 600 GB (Log File System) thats all:)

Software: NetBSD 1.4.3 (With 1.5.1 Alpha kernel :) + IPF + NAT + DNS + FTP + MySQL
+ Apache.
Conection: Internet 11 Mbps (WaveLan) + Local 10/100 Mbps Ethernet), All users
are happy, all have Internet (girls have IRC, boys can connect to xxx :) So what
I can tell more, only once when kernel was 1.4.3 server had crashed (hard disk
error)
