Thanks for the 'no-fault' Kermit, but I am still having problems.
I am getting this message when I attempt to 'set line /dev/tty01':

/var/spool/uucp: No such file or directory
UUCP not installed of Kermit misconfigured
Sorry: access to lock denied: /dev/tty01

Where did I screw up this time?
