This reminds me of another floppy drive oddity that I noticed.  When booting
any kernels newer than 1.0 off off floppy, the floppy drive that I booted
off of was not detected during the probe.

That is to say, if I booted off of A: (a 1.2MB 5.25" floppy), then during boot
it would only find B: (a 1.44MB 3.5" floppy), and would call that fd0.

Anyone else see this?
