Subject: ps and kernel question...

How do I fix ps and w to see the kernel stats after I've updated my
kernel? When I type ps, or w, I get:
w: proc size mismatch (16199 total, 640 chunks): Undefined error: 0

I have tried recompiling both w, and ps, and their associated libraries,
but without luck. vmstat and rstatd both work fine. The kernel version
is current as of last time a tarfile was created on ftp.netbsd.org.

I'm pretty sure that this problem is due to something I'm doing wrong
or not doing, rather than it being a mysterious unsolvable bug.

Help?
