unfortunately they might well be... at least my recent experience is 
leaning that way.

i was looking for some HIL stuff for my 9000/319m and a dealer quoted me 
$180 for a mouse & keyboard. i laughed since i paid $40 for the machine. 
Speaking of that... i need a mouse & keyboard :)

and an hp-ib drive or scsi controller for this machine for that matter.
I'm also looking a fixed-freq 1024x768 (i think) monitor but the drive is 
more important than that or the kbd/mouse :) Same thing as with the mouse 
& keyboard... all of these i tracked down were $300 and up. I just want 
to play with NetBSD on another platform and learn a little about HP 
hardware :)

so if you wanna give me that 425t...
