Yeah, I saw this on a FreeBSD machine too. The drive actually
downgraded itself into PIO mode, I forgot which. Switching from the 80
conductor cable to 40 conductor made it ATA33, which is liveable.

Too bad the Qube can't take advantage of higher bandwidth yet!
