I'm in no way suggesting that you are seeing an issue with 512M, but I
wonder if it is specific to the combination of hardware and software.
For example, on a simulated A1200 with 68040 in fs-uae I can boot
NetBSD-10 and NetBSD-current with 512M or 1024M
(https://sync.absd.org/amiga/fs-uae-a1200-512m.png and
https://sync.absd.org/amiga/fs-uae-a1200-1024m.png respectively).

Could I ask what NetBSD version you are using, and on what hardware.
If it is before NetBSD-10 would you be able to test a netbsd-10
kernel?

Thanks

David
