Hmm, strange. I got the latest
/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc.tar.gz
today.
Going to /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install
followed by "make install" failed because 
pkg_install-20010307.tar.gz is not found at
several ftp-server.

find /usr/pkgsrc/ -name "*pkg_install*"

doesn't succeed either. It just finds
/usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install
the directory.
