It has nothing to do with the NetBSD bootloader... the Multia firmware
itself doesn't know how to boot anything off an IDE drive. It's like
trying to boot a PC off of a USB drive--can't be done. (Well, maybe it
can be done in some machines, I dunno :) But likewise, newer Alphas do
know how to boot off of IDE).
