How to handle wstring in a package

Hi,

I am trying to package the MYSQL gui tools, but they require wstring which 
seems to be missing from currents gcc4.

Is there a way to get around this?

Can I specify a mandatory gcc version for the package or should i just wait 
until wstring support is added.
