 I updated my macppc host with the 201610010040Z TNF snapshot with a
 locally-built kernel/debug sets  from sources of about the same time.
 I removed all packages and have just now successfully built
 "devel/gobject-introspection".
 
 The other troublesome packages will follow eventually.  Then I'll test
 to see if they can be built again.  Once my usual complement has been
 built, I'll update with a later TNF snapshot+custom kernel/debug sets
 and verify whether the problem packages still build.  Then update to
 a full locally-built release and test again.
