 That is fine. We're doing multimedia/vlc* this way now. Also, the package uses
 pkg-config, so other packages won't have an issue finding it.
 
 Summary of changes:
 
 1) Import wip/libnotify as sysutils/libnotify07;
 2) Set its PKGNAME as libnotify07;
 3) Set libnotify and libnotify07 to CONFLICT with each other;
 4) Begin the slow transition;
