 This is on NetBSD 6.0/i386, but the machine was upgraded from 5.1 a few 
 days ago. I haven't rebuild any packages (except libtool-base), unless 
 they were upgraded in the meantime.
 
 With ktruss I see calls to functions like "__stat50" and 
 "__gettimeofday50". Are these functions for backward compatibility with 
 older code? Is there maybe a bug somewhere in this code? Or is this not 
 supposed to work this way?
