 The API was bumped in April by tez with:
 revision 1.11
 date: 2011/04/09 00:16:18;  author: tez;  state: Exp;  lines: +2 -2
 correct openssl dependency (it needs >=0.9.8)
 correct BUILDLINK_API_DEPENDS.mit-krb5
 fix building where libtool chokes on "--version-info : " (at least OS X)
 
 I'm not sure exactly why; if there was a shlib major change, bumping
 the ABI would have been sufficient.
