if i do a:
arp -s remotemachine.my.domain ethernetaddress public
i can "net" through the BSD machine into a mac.

but...

i can't remove i the link is down
arp -d remotemachine.my.domain

nor can't i use temp i.s.o. public

can anyone shed some light on this?

and why doesn't ppp's ip-up works?
and... how to exec a shell-script without sh or csh (years ago, in school,
they told me i thought but i forgot)?
