two oddities/issues on dell poweredge 1850

Hi,
   I have 2 poweredge 1850's that are basically identical (slightly 
different processors and one has more memory than the other).  One of 
them has been happily running 5.1_STABLE/amd64 for some time now.

The second one I've installed 5.99.55/amd64 on and as soon as the boot 
loader loads netbsd and it starts running, the blue "I'm a happy 
machine" LED is replaced by the flashing amber "I'm not happy" one but 
the system boots and appears to be fine other than the annoying 
flashing light.  The only way I've found to reset the led is to power 
cycle the box.  This also happens if I boot off a 5.1/amd64 install CD 
but not a 5.1/i386 install CD.

The other thing observed is that 5.1/amd64 has no ACPI complaints 
while booting:
