OK, so ldconfig doesn't exist on amd64.

Should this have been marked as obsolete? The error was thrown on boot so the 
system is still trying to utilise it ... though that may have been triggered 
by the ld.so.conf that hadn't been removed yet (I won't really know until I 
do the next upgrade).
