You guys really are nuts.  Wasabi's endorsement of NetBSD can
only have been positive for the project.  I certainly saw it as
such while it was being used that way.  That it was the project
(or the Foundation) that drove them to stop endorsing NetBSD,
rather than a move initiated by their corporate image people
beggars belief.

FreeBSD gets tremendous publicity and a positive image for being
associated with Apple and OS/X, and Apple is not stingy with
references to the project on their web site.  What's the point
of having a trademark or name if you aren't going to accept
people using it to refer to the project?  What's the point of
working on a BSD-licenced operating system if you're not going to
enthusiastically encourage use of it by people or companies who
actually make (and sell) products?
