Hey Everyone,

I have the following IDE config:

Channel Master Slave
Primary HDD CDRW
Secondary	CD ZIP

For a while now, -current has been coming out with the following on
boot:

wd0: transfer error, downgrading to Ultra-DMA mode 2
wd0(viaide0:0:0): using PIO mode 4, Ultra-DMA mode 2 (Ultra/33) (using DMA data transfers)
cd0(viaide0:0:1): using PIO mode 4, Ultra-DMA mode 2 (Ultra/33) (using DMA data transfers)
wd0d: error reading fsbn 0 (wd0 bn 0; cn 0 tn 0 sn 0), retrying
wd0: (aborted command, interface CRC error)
wd0: soft error (corrected)
sd0(viaide0:1:1): Check Condition on CDB: 0x00 00 00 00 00 00
    SENSE KEY: Not Ready
     ASC/ASCQ: Medium Not Present

sd1: fabricating a geometry
sd2: fabricating a geometry
sd0(viaide0:1:1): Check Condition on CDB: 0x00 00 00 00 00 00
    SENSE KEY: Not Ready
     ASC/ASCQ: Medium Not Present

Nothing unpleasant seems to happen after this. I think perhaps there
are two issues here: one to do with DMA and one to do with IDE ZIP
drives.

Unfortunately, I cannot remember when these errors started happening.
If somebody can give me the dates of major changes, I could boot
kernels from before/after those times until I found out what change
caused it.
