Is anyone using an HP DeskJet with NetBSD? How are you getting it to
print things? What do your /etc/printcap entries look like, and what
kind of filters are you using?

My old post-script laser printer finally gave up the ghost after more
years than I care to remember, so I bought a DeskJet 930C (closeout
sale). I thought it would be a trivial matter to simply take my
existing set-up (running plain text files through enscript) and send
results to ghostscript's hpdj device. But no matter what -sModel=xxx
I use, gs gives me all sorts of errors, like "/restoreinvalid restore"!

Funny thing is, it will print enscript's page headers just fine, it
simply won't print the contents of the page!

Thanks in advance for any help!

BTW, I can send HP PCL3+ output from my laptop to a "raw" print queue
and it prints just fine. So I know the printer and lpd are working.
