Dear Herb,
   Over Thanksgiving break I was able to check to see if the driver
for 25MHz Efficent which I wrote worked on was operational on various
versions.  I was able to get 1.3.3 to talk to 1.4 and 1.4.1 to talk to
1.4.  Those were the only configurations I tried.  So as far as I know
the problem is not in the ATM layer.
   I configured the interfaces and set up routing via ifconfig and route.
