Hiya. Two questions:

1) How does one configure mk.conf to only install the man pages and
        not their cat* equivalents?

And in conjunction:

2) Has anyone come up with a way to set up man.conf so that when a
man* page is formatted it is moved to its cat* location from /tmp...?

[this to emulate older systems where the cat* page was created the
first time the man* page was referenced.]
