I'm currently working on integrating RCS into CVS. The idea is to
make the rcs source files like ci.c do only argument parsing. Make
it fill out a argument structure that it then sends to functions in
a librcs.a or .so. That way I think the rcs programs will be very small,
and share lots and lots of code. Then integration into CVS will be 
fairly easy, and CVS will be more stable. I noticed that supfilesrv
can use rcs. Integrate it into that as well, it would take no more disk
space than it does now.

Imagine CVS that you can Control-C and not worry about WHO gets the 
^C. Did cvs get it or rcs or diff or who? Also, what if you are 
checking in lots of files over the network? It would be nice if
CVS were atomic. This is a bit down the road though. Integration
of RCS into CVS is a step in that direction.

It would be really cool if we could sup the changes along with
the comments that go with them. Ideas on how to do this and not load
down the server badly?
