Subject: Loss of job control in current?

Has anyone else noticed screwiness with backgrounding some things in
current? Not-so-interactive things like make, more, and less don't
seem to have any problems. But when I ^Z editors under current (what
looks to be the Nov 7 current tar files), I lose all control over them
when I bring them back to the foreground.

This has happened both with a vi that has been freshly compiled with
the current sources, as well as with an emacs 18.59 that was compiled
on my previous stock-0.9 system. In addition, rebuilt tcsh with the
current includes/libs, and the job control problem still surfaces in
exactly the same way.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this happening? This never
appeared on my 0.9 system. (I'm also running a current kernel.)
